About Shann bailey

From a young age I have been drawn to expressive movement. After spending 15 years in professional dance, I naturally progressed into more intuitive movement, which led me to my own yoga practice and flow arts. Dancing with silk fans, fire props and free flowing movement.   I have a strong passion for creating meaningful yoga flows, with every movement having a purpose to serve the breath and nurture the bodies natural intelligence. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and somatic techniques into my classes and as of late, sprinkling light knowledge of yoga philosophy, to honour the practice fully.  In 2015 I facilitated my first cacao meditation circle down by the beach with 10 beautiful souls and fell in love with the sense of community hold space could create. I continued to host a number of events including sound baths, corporate Yoga, full moon and new moon circles, reiki offerings, women's connection circles and even plastic-free/waste-free lifestyle workshops. From this I knew I wanted to incorporate movement into my offerings. After completing my 200h Yoga Teacher training, I have continued with a number of additional educational courses including Yin Yoga, Prenatal/Postnatal and Mindfulness Certifications. My offerings grow and evolve, as I do too.   I look forward to exploring this next chapter with you and seeing you on the mat soon.  With love + joy Shann x
